MHH Launches Closely-Held/Family Business Practice Group
GGI member firm Moritt Hock & Hamroff (MHH) announced that attorneys from its Corporate/M&A, Estate Planning, and Employment Practice Groups have joined forces to create its Closely-Held/Family Business Practice Group. MHH continues its guiding principle of Strength in Partnership® in which its practice areas collaborate across the firm to service and advise business owners of closely-held companies.
The new Practice Group is comprised of six MHH attorneys: Brian Adelman, Jill T. Braunstein, Keith J. Frank, Stephen J. Ginsberg, Louis P, Karol, and Tina M. Kassangana. The group will combine their considerable experience and collaborate to provide creative and effective solutions to the broad array of legal issues that family enterprises encounter on a day-to-day basis and as they evolve over generations.

Jill T. Braunstein is a Partner with the firm in its Corporate, M&A, and Securities Practice Group, where she will serve as Co-Chair of the firm’s Closely-Held/Family Business Practice Group. Ms Braunstein has over 20 years of experience specialising as a corporate and securities attorney, and acting as a trusted business advisor to public and private companies, business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, and private equity funds. She listens to clients’ needs and provides valueadded advice that assists those clients with meeting their business goals.
Louis P. Karol is a Partner with the firm in its Trusts & Estates Practice Group, where he will serve as Co-Chair of the firm’s Closely-Held/Family Business Practice Group. The scope of his practice is diversified and includes all aspects of complex estate and trust planning, business succession planning, residency tax controversies, and estate litigation. In addition to being an attorney, Mr Karol is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Keith J. Frank is a Partner with the firm and Co-Chair of its Employment Practice Group. Mr Frank provides advice and counsel to businesses on a wide variety of employmentrelated matters. He regularly litigates before federal, state, and local courts and administrative agencies regarding claims of sexual harassment, discriminatory practices, overtime and wage law, insurance coverage issues, corporate law, and commercial law matters.
Stephen J. Ginsberg is a Partner with the firm in its Litigation Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on representing clients in complex commercial litigation and dispute avoidance and resolution. He has extensive litigation and arbitration experience at all stages of the legal process, including strategy development, emergency relief (including temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and the seizure of assets), discovery, substantive and procedural motions, and representing clients at mediation, in settlement negotiations, and at trial.
Brian Adelman is an Associate with the firm in its Trusts & Estates Practice Group where he concentrates his practice in all aspects of estate and trust planning, real estate, and business and corporate law.
Tina M. Kassangana is an Associate with the firm in its Corporate, M&A and Securities, and Intellectual Property Practice Groups, where she concentrates her practice in all facets of complex corporate and intellectual property related matters, including business transactions, partnership agreements, licensing, financings, and sale of businesses.
